1976- Navy/Red

In 1976, my father (Utro) opened Utro's Crest Cafe in San Pedro, CA. Utro's became a locally renowned watering hole serving ice cold beers and old fashioned burgers. The place was often standing room only as longshoremen bumped elbows with fishermen, sailors, cops and military folks. The 1985 cult classic To Live & Die in LA was filmed in the cafe.
